15. Pilot – Season 1, Episode 1
So, while the Pilot may not be the best episode as it was, in retrospect, we have a sort of respect for it that will never fade. It began our fifteen-year journey that we never want to end. We meet the Winchesters. Not to mention, the ghost girl on the side of the road isn’t one we’ll soon forget.
14. All Hell Breaks Loose – Season 2, Episode 21 and 22
In this two-part episode, we see others who are “special like Sam” and they all have a show down. This marks the end of the yellow-eyed demon as we knew him. But even more impressive than that, it is the first time we see Sam die.

One of the best guest stars that has been on Supernatural is Bela, played by The Walking Dead’s Laura Cohan. In this episode, she is introduced in a fabulous way. She steals a rabbit’s foot that brings good luck…for a while. In the episode, Sam handles the foot, giving him good luck…until he loses it.
12. Mystery Spot – Season 3, Episode 11
“Off to see the groundhog?” This story has been told many times, but has it ever been as hilarious as it was in this episode of Supernatural? Bill Murray did a fantastic job living the day over and over again, but so does Sam. The younger brother spends the entire episode trying to save Dean from his apparently inevitable demise. As funny as the episode is, it faces the question: what will life be like without Dean?
11. Lazarus Rising – Season 4, Episode 1
The end of Season 3 is the end of Dean. Or so Sam thought. In reality, in the premiere of Season 4, he is raised from Hell. But by who? At this point (in the final season) it feels like Castiel has been with us since the beginning. But if you think back, you’ll remember this is the first time we see the angel. Now isn’t that an iconic moment?
10. Yellow Fever – Season 4, Episode 6 – 15 Best ‘Supernatural’ Episodes of All Time
With so many memes coming out of this episode, even non-fans have probably heard of it. Dean is infected with something that gives him extreme anxiety. Anxiety that causes him to be deathly afraid of…well, everything. Jensen Ackles kills it with the screams in this one. You will be rolling on the floor laughing.
9. Changing Channels – Season 5, Episode 8
Every Trickster episode is a good time. This time, the Trickster places the brothers in all of their favorite shows, from a medical drama called Dr. Sexy M.D. to a silly game show. This whole scene is hilarious, but it gets serious later when the Trickster’s true identity is revealed. And no, we don’t mean Loki.
8. Dark Side of the Moon – Season 5, Episode 16 – 15 Best ‘Supernatural’ Episodes of All Time
In Dark Side of the Moon, the brothers die…again. Angry that Sam started the apocalypse, hunters are after them. When they are found, they are immediately shot. This time, they go to Heaven, where they relive their best memories, and search for an angel, Joshua, who can speak directly to God. Or so they believed.
7. Swan Song – Season 5, Episode 22
Season 5 may be the best season of Supernatural to date. The season surrounds The Apocalypse, making sure every episode keeps you on the edge of your seat. The season could have very well been the last season. The last episodes gives us the end of The Apocalypse, Sam giving into Lucifer, and Castiel takes over Heaven.
6. The French Mistake – Season 6, Episode 15
This episode is a meme in itself. In the show, the angel Balthazar sends Sam and Dean to an alternate universe. In this world, they are actors on a TV show called “Supernatural” and they are actors named “Jensen Ackles” and “Jared Padalecki.” They have a co-star named “Mish Collins” who is obsessed with social media. Oh yeah, and Sam is married to Ruby.
5. Party On, Garth – Season 7, Episode 18 – 15 Best ‘Supernatural’ Episodes of All Time
A monster you can only see when you’re drunk? That’s a recipe for hilarious disaster. In this episode, we get to see one of our favorite guest stars: Garth. One of the purest characters on the show. This little fiasco is super entertaining. But so is ghost Bobby, who we had first thought didn’t let himself attach to Dean.
4. As Time Goes By – Season 8, Episode 12
Although meeting their young grandfather is quote monumental, what is even greater is finding out that the boys belong to a long line of Men of Letters. This revelation begins a long side story that unravels over the next couple of seasons. Plus, we get to see how time travel really works and it is crazy!
3. Dog Dean Afternoon – Season 9, Episode 5
This may just be the funniest episode of Supernatural in existence. In this episode, Dean uses magic that will allow him to communicate with animals. It does its job, however, it gives him canine-like instincts as well. During the episode, we see him bark, play fetch, check out poodles, and much more. You will laugh out loud during this episode, I guarantee it.

When the hunters are called to a school where a teacher has disappeared, they don’t expect what they are met with. The school is putting on a play based on the Supernatural books. But wait, this school is an all-girls school! Who is playing Sam and Dean again? And why are the details so…off?
