Roblox is one of the most unique games in recent memory and it’s also free, meaning that anyone can start exploring its vast collection of games. This can be daunting if you’re just getting started, so here are some of the best Roblox games we recommend checking out, whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned veteran.
First though, what is Roblox. It is not just another online multiplayer game world, or Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) product. No, Roblox provides a foundation upon which players can build their own adventures using a its programming language called Lua. Don’t freak. Lua is easy to use and if you don’t want to create your own game, join others. There are more than you could possibly play. Fortunately, you can filter the games according to your own likes and dislikes.
Of course, you can always start with the ones below as we think they are some of the best Roblox games within its environment.
Natural Disaster Survival
If you’re used to games like Fortnite and PUBG, Natural Disaster Survival is a great place to start. Just like in those, you’re tasked with surviving as long as possible. The difference is that the enemy isn’t other players—it’s the environment!
With hazards including wildfires, tornadoes, and earthquakes, Natural Disaster Survival will keep you on your toes as you try to survive the end of the (Roblox) world. It’s a perfect game for short bursts as each game is over when the last player dies.
Work at a Pizza Place – The Best Roblox Games
While it’s certainly based on an unconventional premise, Work at a Pizza Place is one of the most intriguing games in the Roblox world. Its title tells you exactly what it’s about, and you’ll have to fill one of six job responsibilities: Manager, Cashier, Cook, Pizza Boxer, Delivery, or Supplier.
As you make money at your new job, you’ll be able to buy new upgrades for your house, such as gear, furniture, and new colors. Later, you’ll even be able to increase its size, all the way to the last upgrade: Mansion.
Hide and Seek Extreme
If you want to relive your childhood through Roblox, there’s no better way than through Hide and Seek Extreme, which adds interesting elements to the game we all know. The game features several hiding areas, including a kitchen, backyard, bedroom, and store.
Just like normal hide and seek, the seeker is trying to find the hiders, but they now have a time limit. To make things easier for the seeker, they can utilize special abilities, such as glue, which stops any hider who touches it from moving, and cameras, which show the seeker where the hiders are located.
Theme Park Tycoon 2 – The Best Roblox Games
Sims are popular game formats and Roblox certainly has its share. One of the best is Theme Park Tycoon 2. Yeah, there are many Tycoon sims on Roblox, but this is a lot of fun and allows you to create your own theme park and compete with rivals for guest tallies and money. Yes, there is a leaderboard that keeps track.
So, you have to keep adding to your theme park and making sure your guest are happy or your rivals will overtake you on that ever constant leaderboard screen.
Speed Run 4
Love this game. It is very addictive, primarily because it doesn’t take long to complete one race and there is enough variety to keep you going with this platformer game. The object is to race through each of the 31 levels as quickly as you can. Each level is a different design, and some are freaky while others are very plain, which creates its own challenges.
Of course, you can sprint through the levels all by yourself, but the fun really starts when you’re racing against other players. This game is a blast.
Of course, there are literally millions of games available for Roblox, and these barely scratch the surface of what it has to offer. Even the most experienced users have an incredible number of new games left to play, so if you ever get bored of the one you’re playing, keep looking—you’ll never run out of things to do in Roblox!
